Horiatiki salad (literally village) or Greek salad, is THE unavoidable salad of Hellenic tables. There are of course several variants: with or without peppers, red or green peppers, some will add capers. Whatever your choice, the most important thing is to salt your tomatoes to make them disgorge, and thus obtain a juice, which together with the olive oil, train your dressing (Do not add vinegar); at the end of your meal, take pieces of bread, and dip them in the remaining juice, Greeks call it a "Voutia" (a dive), A DELIGHT.
